Goddess of Truth - mixed media using cloth, enamel, oil paint, and liquid gold leaf
Truth
It is ironic that it was during the making of this piece that I began to see the cyclical way the meaning of this series was evolving. Creating art was a form of self expression, then it became a societal need for community, and individuality, balance, and connection, but it was here, while making this piece that I realized how personal it was to create each goddess as an expression of my journey. When I began to tell this part of the story, people began to connect it to their own personal experience of healing moving the evolution back around again.
